Supernatural war flick Stormhouse gets new art & longer synopsis

Nov. 4, 2010by: Jake Dee

The American Film Market is fomenting lots business activity this week, both for big and small film productions. One flick looking to scare up interest is Dan Turner's STORMHOUSE, a supernatural chiller set in the days leading up to the Iraq war. It's a really cool premise, to add a ghastly element to a warlike environment...one inherently rife with drama. Besides, how many military-ghost stories have you ever encountered? Worth a look then wouldn't ya say?

Written by Jason Arnopp, STROMHOUSE picks up:

In 2002, eight months before the invasion of Iraq, the Military captured and imprisoned a supernatural entity at Stormhouse, a secret underground base.

This film documents the final four days of that experiment. ‘Ghost whisperer’ Hayley Sands is brought to Stormhouse by the Government to make contact with the captured entity. But her arrival triggers a series of events which lead to the entity's escape, plunging the base into a horrific nightmare.

Katie Flynn (below), Patrick Flynn. Grahame Fox and Grant Master are a few name who'll star.

Keep it here for more on STORMHOUSE soon!

Extra Tidbit: Apparently STORMHOUSE is just a working title.
