On tap this morning we have the first impressive teaser for the Canadian horror flick BLACKBURN, which recently wrapped up shooting in British Columbia and is currently in post. If this teaser is any indication, we're in for a frighfully delightful and twisted good time with this one!
BLACKBURN is helmed by stunt veteran Lauro Chartrand and written by Natasha Baron. The film stars Calum Worthy, Emilie Ullerup, Sarah Lind, Zack Peladeau, Alexander Calvert, Brandi Alexander, Maja Aro, Lochlyn Munro, Brad Loree and Ken Kirzinger, as well as doubling down on the twin powers with Jacqueline and Joyce Robbins (2006 THE WICKER MAN) and the Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska (AMERICAN MARY). Here's what it's about:
“A forest fire and rockslide leave five bickering college friends trapped in a small Alaskan ghost-town with a horrifying history. When they seek refuge inside an abandoned mine they must band together to survive as the angry inhabitants slaughter the friends one-by-one.”
Raven Banner will be the Canadian distributors and have the international sales rights. Hopefully we'll hear more on this one soon! You'll dig this teaser, no doubt.
