A few days ago, we got a look at the first promos for THE RING director Gore Verbinski's return to the horror genre, A CURE FOR WELLNESS. Those disturbing videos didn't give away any of the story, but they did set up the health spa where the story is set.

The film stars Dane DeHaan as a man who

is sent to rescue his boss from a European “wellness spa.” He soon realizes he's trapped, and discovers that the facility has a more sinister purpose than just serving the health needs of its patients.

Also in the cast are Jason Isaacs as the facility's director and Mia Goth as a patient.

A teaser trailer for A CURE FOR WELLNESS has now arrived online, and like the promos it doesn't actually tell you anything about the story. It barely even has any dialogue, mostly just opting to show you some unsettling imagery accompanied by a soft and slow cover of the Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated". Covers like this are becoming a trailer cliché. While the teaser doesn't tell you what's going on, you can piece it together after you've read the plot synopsis, and it looks like Verbinski has brought that story to life with an incredible visual style.

A CURE FOR WELLNESS is set for release on February 17, 2017.
