The Ashley Greene supernatural romp The Apparition finally scores a release date

Earlier this past Summer we learned that Todd Lincoln’s THE APPARITION would be PG-13. Months before that we learned that the flick wouldn’t be released until sometime in 2012… and that’s about all we’ve had on this one this entire year!

Finally some solid APPARITION news is coming our way today courtesy of The Hollywood Repoter’s Heat Vision blog. According to the site the supernatural film has finally secured itself a release date. So when will we get to see the gorgeous Ashley Greene tramping around in her underwear battling some ghost? August 24, 2012, that’s when!

The supernatural thriller follows a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment.

Joining Greene in her battle against the otherwordly will be Sebastian Stan.

Now THE APPARITION’s August 24th release date puts it right up against the Joseph Gordon-Levitt actioner PREMIUM RUSH and Summit’s upcoming genre flick SINISTER.
