The Dark Knight Rises scores itself a few more cast members

It was just yesterday that these here interwebs were rocked with the reveal of Tom Hardy as ‘Bane’ from Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. That shite spread like wild-fire! Almost as fast as Randy Savage’s death, Rest in Piece Macho King.

So what am I getting at? Well now that THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is on everybody’s mind Variety took the opportunity to announce a couple more additions to the cast: Matthew Modine, Tom Conti and Joey King have all signed on for the film. Now apparently Modine will be playing a character named ‘Nixon’ but that’s all we know. Ah Chris Nolan and his mysterious ways, I love it!

Plot details are unknown right now, as I’m sure they will be for a long time. The good thing is it looks like the viral train for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has left the station so we can expect a lot more updates on the third entry to Nolan’s BATMAN trilogy soon.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES already has a release date of July 20, 2012 tapped and stars Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway (below), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.
