Last we heard on the “12 Monkeys” TV show front, Aaron Stanford and Amanda Schull had been cast as the film’s two leads, James Cole and Cassandra Railly. Today we get word that two more roles have been filled.

According to Deadline, Noah Bean (“Nikita”; pictured right) has come aboard the series, as has character actor Željko Ivanek (“Heroes”, “True Blood”). Their roles have not yet been specified.

In the show, Standford will play Cole, a desperate and haunted man from the near future who travels to the present day to stop the deadly plague from being released upon the world. Schull will play Cassandra Railly, a brilliant doctor forced to choose between her idyllic life or join Cole’s mission to uncover the dangerous conspiracy.

The 60-minute Syfy pilot is being produced by Universal Cable Productions and Atlas Entertainment. Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (“Terra Nova,” “Nikita”) wrote the pilot script and are serving as co-executive producers.
