Check out the first official poster and still from Cars 2

It's CARS 2 VS THE WORLD.
That's obviously not the title, but that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the poster. It also may have a lot to do with the fact that I recently watched SCOTT PILGRIM.
Back on topic, the first CARS 2 poster is basic. The logo is smacked right on this glowing blue world. We also have the first still from the film. Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) along with a few more cars are heading off as an explosion is seen behind them.
CARS was personally not my favorite Pixar film. I can't stand the sound of Larry the Cable Guy's voice. Maybe CARS 2 will offer something more.
Check out the poster and still below.
Synopsis:
"Star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in “Cars 2” when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission, Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. Adding to the fast-paced fun is a colorful new all-car cast that includes secret agents, menacing villains and international racing competitors."
| Extra Tidbit: | While TOY STORY is a gimme, WALL-E has to be my other favorite Pixar film. What about you guys? |

Meh!?
I like to be surprised
A mouse that cooks ? meh...
A grandad in a house carried by inflatable balloons ? meh...
A pink bear as the main antagonist in TS3 ? meh...
And then out of the blue they ALWAYS make it awesome (and the short film Day and Night before TS3 is the best proof of PIXAR's limitless resources). So, this poster looks shit. But I KNOW that PIXAR is just going to do it again. Again. Again !
For the record, my favorite Pixar film is Ratatouille (so psyched for M:I-4 !!

For the record, my favorite Pixar film is Ratatouille (so psyched for M:I-4 !! Go Brad Bird !). Also I just watched How To Train Your Dragon and man it feels good to have a film that respects the process of an old-fashioned animated film : no gimmicky jokes, no pop-culture references and no funky tunes !! What a doozy.
Eh..
Cars sucks
The Incredibles
wow...
Cars FTW
Cars may not be as mature and sophisticated in story as the others, but in terms of sheer visual depth, scale and quality, it's pretty much unparalleled. I can't wait to see this beautiful world expanded upon... being Pixar, they wouldn't do a sequel unless they have somewhere great to go with the story.

My favorite Pixar movie is Toy Story, but if I had to pick my second favorite it would be Up.

I was a fan of Cars (im sure that goes without saying, it was a Pixar flick)... sad Paul Newman won't be around to reprise his role!
