For many of us, our childhood world revolved around Christmas morning, as it was often the only other day of the year besides your birthday that you could score that one, unattainable toy that was too expensive and elusive throughout the rest of the year. As an adult, Christmas just doesn't feel the same if there isn't at least one toy or really cool collectible under the tree. It's just not right without something cool, nerdy, and/or fully poseable, no matter what age you are. So, with that, let's take a look at some of the best collectibles and toys for this holiday season. Some require batteries, some require your time and patiience, some require shelf space, and some require a hefty sum of cash. Either way, you'd likely be a happy camper transported back to your childhood if any of these were under your tree on Christmas morn'.

*Additional note: Don't get sticker shocked with the Sideshow/Hot Toys stuff. They have some of the highest quality nerd figures out there and they offer all variables of payment plans if you can't buy anything outright. Just a healthy tip for those on a tighter budget that still want the good shit.

DISCLAIMER: These prices can be fickle, so there's no telling if and when a money-saving opportunity might end or if the price may change. So if you want something – snap that shit up quick! Don't wait, only to have Festivus roll around and discover you've nothing to give or the price suddenly changed and you no longer have the bread. And remember that if you want to support JoBlo.com, please use our links below for your purchases. We thank you in advance!

Kylo Ren Force FX Lightsaber (Toys R Us Exclusive) $64.99 – If you've never had a lightsaber battle with a Force FX lightsaber then I just don't know what to tell you other than you're seriously missing out on recreating a true lightsaber duel without losing an actual hand. As a kid, we didn't have anything like this, using invisible lightsabers with our own mouth effects for the sound. Now, you have fully lit lightsabers with sound effects at every twist, strike, and parry. With THE FORCE AWAKENS signature lightsaber (so far) belonging to Kylo Ren, that makes this the must-have intergalactic weapon of the season.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon $141.18 – If you can buy only one Star Wars themed LEGO this season, it would be hard to resist Han Solo's iconic ship. There have been a few versions made by LEGO (including this mega collectors edition), but this is the latest, which features characters and modifications from THE FORCE AWAKENS, including minifigs of Han, Chewy, Finn, Rey, BB8, Tasu Leech and a Kanjiklub Gang Member. While we all have our favorites, there's no denying the mere presence of this badass ship, which famously made the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs. You just can't argue with that.

Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure by Sideshow Collectibles $229.99 – With his movie heading to theaters in just a few months, the hype for Deadpool couldn't be any higher. In anticipation, Sideshow has gone out of their way to create an all-inclusive sixth scale figure of the Merc with a Mouth that has all his usual accoutrements of weaponry as well as some nifty word balloons, stickers, and if you can snag the exclusive edition, the infamous floating zombie head Deadpool.

Marty McFly Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys $224.99 – Run for it, Marty! This year marked the 30th Anniversary of Robert Zemeckis' famed time travel film, Back to the Future, and what better time to show your admiration for the series than with a Marty McFly sixth scale figure, complete with sunglasses, watch, portable cassette player, camcorder, skateboard, backpack, Hill Valley clocktower flyer, and even the damn buttons on his jacket! Now, that's heavy! If you want to go all in and get the full set-up, the DeLoreon is also available…

Hot Toys DeLorean Sixth Scale Figure Related Product by Hot Toys $689.99 – Yup, Hot Toys has gone back in time to create one of the coolest toy replicas ever: The original DeLoreon from 1985's Back to the Future. This meticulously crafted beauty lights up in all the right places (oh yes, the flux capacitor is ON) and is detailed down to the tiny cables running in the back of the vehicle and even includes Doc's alarm clock on the dash. Pair this with your Marty McFly figure and man…the collectible nerd power force will be strong within you. The biggest issue would be finding the shelf space.

John Matrix Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys $249.99 – One of the most quotable action films of the '80's, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Commando is a staple of the era and his badass character, John Matrix, was one of the best of the genre (how did we never get a sequel to this?). Now, you can own a piece of the Matrix with Hot Toys sixth scale version of the action badass who "eats Green Beret's for breakfast" and can clean sweep an enemy hideout with hundreds of armed guards and walk away with only a few cuts and scrapes. John Matrix is armed to the teeth with a rocket launcher, machine gun, shotgun, submachine gun, pistol, claymore mines, knives, grenades, and ammo. Better hope he promises to kill you last!

Kylo Ren Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys $224.99 – The new villain from Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in signature style from Hot Toys in sixth scale format. Played by Adam Driver in the film, this new evil character from the Knights of Ren is situated to be a key player in the new expanded universe and a great addition to any Star Wars figure collection. Kylo Ren comes with an LED light-up lightsaber with weathering effects (battery operated), as well as a lightsaber hilt with weathering effects. "Don't fight it. You know you can't."

Catwoman Maquette by Tweeterhead $259.99 – Who can forget Michelle Pfeiffer's iconic Catwoman from Tim Burton's Batman Returns? Her version of Selina Kyle has yet to be topped on the big screen and her classic, shiny, stitched-together catsuit has remained a fixture in Batman lore. The statue comes with Gotham City rooftop base and is equipped with her signature whip and ready-to-kick-ass look. Hear her roar.

Batman Premium Format™ Figure by Sideshow Collectibles $399.99 – With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice slated to hit theaters early next year, there's no better time than now to grace your shelves with The Dark Knight's presence, particularly in his classic outfit that looks to be emulated in the new film. This gorgeous statue has The World's Greatest Detective standing atop a Gotham Gargoyle and primed for action, wearing the traditional black and grey outfit with yellow belt (there is also a modern variant). This hand-painted and fully clothed Premium Format Figure comes with two head sculpts that you can swap out depending on your mood or taste.

DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series: Batmobile $98.99 – Many of us grew up loving Batman TAS and for those that miss their old toys from back in the day we've at least got something cool and collectible to take home again. To go a long with the figures is this sweet as hell 24" long replica Batmobile from the show that features real working lights and is scaled to fit the various figures. One of the coolest Batmobiles ever, this one is primed for the Batfan in your life.

Home Alone clothed figure set (Kevin McCallister and The Wet Bandits) $79.99 – Ah, it's the holidays! Time for celebration, togetherness, and…home defense? Well, if you're Kevin McCallister then that's certainly the case and these brilliant figures by NECA from the classic Christmas comedy come complete with interchangeable heads sculpted in the actor's likeness as well as plenty of accessories: Kevin comes with alternate hands, BB gun, zipline handlebars and Little Nero's pizza box; Harry comes with kaleidoscope, crowbar and drawstring burglar sack; Marv comes with snow globe, crowbar and drawstring burglar sack. Snatch 'em up, ya filthy animal!

Alien Xenomorph Carton of Eggs Accessory Pack by NECA $29.95 – Crack a few eggs open this Christmas, but be careful with what's inside! This nifty little accessory set from NECA is a cool addition to their Alien line of figures and potentially a really dirty trick to play on relatives making breakfast on Christmas morning. They mostly come out at night. Mostly.

Pulp Fiction talking action figures – Vincent Vega $39.30 and Jules Winnfield $49.18 – "Play with matches, you get burned." Quentin Tarantino's classic little indie about mobsters, drug dealers, criminals, and redneck sadists finally gets some action figure love with these talking figures that spout the beloved (and often explicit) dialogue from the film. Relive your classic favorite lines with these fully clothed, foul-mouthed assassins and build up your figure collection like a bad motherf*cker.

Funko Legacy Action: Fallout Power Armor and Lone Wanderer Action Figures – Well, if you're anything like me then you've already lost many days of your life to Fallout 4, which is easily the coolest game of the year and one that takes hold of you and never lets you go. However, if you're able to break away for a minute and want to further accentuate your love for all things Fallout, Funko has got you covered with the one-two punch of Power Armor and Lone Wanderer Legacy Figures, which are just too cool not to own some space on your shelf. Put your game on pause, order 'em up, and get back into the wasteland.

Funko Smuggler's Bounty Subscription Box $25 and up – Give the gift that keeps on giving from a Galaxy Far, Far Away all year round (or for however long you choose) and get your favorite Star Wars fan this nifty little subscription box from Funko, which features $50 worth of exclusive Star Wars content in each box and ships 6 times per year. Cancel anytime or go big and jump on the annual subscription, which includes a free gift. May the Force Be With Your mailbox.

Sphero BB-8 App-Enabled Droid $149.95 – One of the most talked about new products in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens line-up, the BB-8, App-Enabled Droid is a technical marvel that puts the power of remote controled robots in your hands…or smartphone, if we're being technical. You can control the cute little bot to roam around, do specific manuevers, record messages, and even listen and respond to voice commands (Check out our own time spent with BB-8 in this video). A truly fun little gadget for what will likely be a much-beloved new character in the Star Wars Universe.

DC Collectibles Wonder Woman: The Art of War: Wonder Woman by Tony Daniel Statue $51.49 – With Wonder Woman about to make her first big-screen appearance in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice next year and then again in her first solo film the year after, things are looking up for the Amazon warrior, who is embodied here in a sculpt design by DC Comics artist Tony Daniel, showing Princess Diana in all her bad ass glory. There are other variants in this series, but I'm partial to Daniel's design.

Bandai Tamashii Nations Movie Realization Samurai General Darth Vader "Star Wars" Action Figure $141.21 – These reimagined Star Wars characters as Japanese Samurai warriors are some of the most clever, cool, and beautifully executed offshoot figures on the market. While the series focuses on the villains, particularly Darth Vader, Crimson Guard, Storm Troopers, and Boba Fett they are no less collectible even if you're one of the good guys. Meticulously detailed and imaginitive as hell, these are simply out of this world.

The First Hellboy Statue (Red Version) $200 – Fans of Hellboy will dig this little gem from Mondo, which is a statue based on Hellboy creator Mike Mignola's first ever drawing of what would become the famed Dark Horse character (and later movie star as embodied by Ron Perlman). Own a piece of comic history come to life with this little devil.

Kotobukiya ArtFX + Avengers Age of Ultron Hulkbuster ($181.95) and Hulk Statue ($51.99) – While many were divided on the final product that was Avengers: Age of Ultron there were no doubt some enjoyable moments to be had, one of them being the showdown between The Hulkbuster and The Hulk. Relive the carnage with these highly detailed statues from Kotobukiya, both of which have matching base displays to marry up the battle perfectly on your shelf. Smash!
