Holy fish fingers and custard! Peter Jackson could direct an episode of Doctor Who?

Whovians, gather ’round, I have something to share with you.

Director and fellow DOCTOR WHO fan, Peter Jackson is teasing his possible involvement with a future episode with the eleventh doctor, Matt Smith. Note that I said tease, but just beginning to imagine what Jackson could come up with is exciting.

A few months ago after Smith expressed interest in Jackson helming an episode, the director followed-up with this:

“I’m a huge Doctor Who fan, and I think Matt’s fantastic. Just name a time and place, and I’ll be there!”

Recently, Jackson attended the premiere of the 2012 DOCTOR WHO Christmas Special, “The Snowmen”. Of course while he was there, he was asked once more about a possible involvement with the series, and collaborating with WHO veteran, Steven Moffat:

“Well, you never know, we may well do.”

Oh, come on, good sir! Please do not tease us unless you intend on following through. Can you even imagine what ideas Jackson would have for the Doctor? I think if anyone could come up with a really good idea it would be him, or Del Toro.

Also, if you didn’t get to see the new Tardis interior yesterday, take a peek back at the picture at the beginning of this article.
