If you needed yet another movie to convince you traveling to a foreign country will likely get you killed, NO ESCAPE is here to make you throw your passport in the shredder. Formerly known as THE COUP, the film stars Owen Wilson, Pierce Brosnan and Lake Bell as innocent civilians tossed into the midst of a violent revolution in Asia. At least James Bond is in the house!
Directed by John Erick Dowdle (DEVIL, QUARANTINE), NO ESCAPE centers on:
… an American businessman (Wilson) as he and his family settle into their new home in Southeast Asia. Suddenly finding themselves in the middle of a violent political uprising, they must frantically look for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city.
The Weinstein Company will release NO ESCAPE on September 2nd.
