Mission Impossible 5 to hit theaters on Christmas 2015

Nov. 13, 2013by:

December 2015 is going to be jam packed with films.

One of the biggest flicks STAR WARS EPISODE VII will release in theaters on December 18th. So I guess anything after that should expect to be left in the wake that will be big box office numbers for the 7th STAR WARS movie.

One of the challengers to enter the ring is MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5 which is now set to hit theaters on December 25th. Will director Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise triumph over a galaxy far, far away? I'm just going to say no. They might come in second but STAR WARS will definitely hold on to that number one spot as long as it can.

WARCRAFT and INFERNO (the next installment in the Dan Brown saga) will release alongside STAR WARS: EPISODE VII. KUNG FU PANDA 3 and Ben Affleck's LIVE BY NIGHT will release on Christmas with MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5.

I'm truly hoping that WARCRAFT turns out to be as amazing as the stories foretell, and that is does well upon its release.

Gonna be a tough job topping GHOST PROTOCOL

I'm not the biggest M:I fan but damn, that was a spectacular movie! Brad Bird really hit that one out of the park.

I'm almost positive we'll be seeing some re-shuffling for some of these movies. There's no way they'll risk potentially loosing audiences. I can see MI-5 and Star Wars locking this month though.

Warcraft AND Star Trek? Why? I understand they don't wanna be bullied out, and they could both even be profitable, but I'm now starting to wish that some of these movies would spread to 2016

As long as Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt, I'm game.

Looking forward to it. Glad the series was able to recover from the second film.

At this point, we need an official 2015 movie schedule calendar to keep track of all of these films...like starting now.

But after the brilliance that was Ghost Protocol, I couldn't be more excited for the next Mission Impossible.

I am not a Warcraft gamer however I can appreciate the story and I am quite interested to see how it turns out. I am of the opinion that it is not a smart idea for a starting franchise like Warcraft, regardless of how popular the source might be, should try to go toe-to-toe with an established franchise with as much backing as Star Wars. I think they should move the release date for Warcraft to a spring or summer of 2016 so it isn't overshadowed by Episode VII

You're exactly right. They will most likely move it.

Can't agree more with both of you, but I hope MORE movies move. At least another 3-4 of the "smaller" ones
