There’s been a void since Kenny Powers drove out of our lives last March.
For those of you who haven’t been watching EASTBOUND & DOWN, do yourself a favor and go buy the first season. A series about the life of washed-up baseball player (Danny McBride) immersed in all things white trash is nothing short of wonderful.
HBO has finally released a teaser for the next season. They also bring news that the show will be back in September. With the newest season comes an entirely different setting and characters. Joining the cast will be Michael Peña (OBSERVE & REPORT) and Ana de la Reguera (NACHO LIBRE). Sources say that Kenny’s father will make an appearance as well as Kenny’s only friend, Steve Little (Stevie Janowski).
It’s not much, but it sure as hell gets me excited. I almost thought that HBO had completely forgotten about it.
