Smith is Pharaoh

Many people (maybe just me) have dubbed Will Smith “The Black Tom Cruise”. Maybe it’s due to their winning smiles, their ability to open films, or their marriages to C-list actresses. Or maybe it’s because their movies are kind of like totally similar to one another. Case in point, Will’s latest is called THE LAST PHARAOH, in which he plays Taharqa, the pharaoh who battled Assyrian invaders in ancient Egypt. Didn’t Tommy C once play the last samurai in some film called THE LAST SAMURAI? Ah whatever. Samurai/Pharaoh, Will/Tom, Katie/Jada, white/black. The two gentlemen love eachother and they love being big deals and even if I told them that they’re copying eachother’s careers, they wouldn’t listen to me. After all, I have acne.
