I think Kristen Kruek is a babe, but she needs some serious acting lessons. If she weren't so exotic looking, she never would have gotten the Lana Lang role on "Smallville." Speaking of beating a dead horse, is it any wonder John Schenider, Annette O'toole, Michael Rosenbaum, Kruek & the exec producers left that show? I love the whole idea of "Superman" as a young man, but man it really sucks now although I admit I still watch it. This looks like another "DOA" to me, yeah if you don't know what film that was it starred Jamie Presley and was laughable. I wonder if the people that did this film watched the god-awful Jean-Claude Van Damme version? What's worse is that this has an Oscar nominated (Michael Clarke-Duncan) actor as well as the terribly under-appreciated & not very well known Neal McDonough from his fantastic work in "Band of Brothers." This trailer was a little over a minute & it has already ruined any good memories from the fun-at-the-time game. This is going to blow chunks. What a shame to, because w/a little character development & having a better no-name talented actress play the title character, this could be good. Too bad that ship has sailed. Besides "Street Fighter" was a in thing over a dozen years ago. I love the cast, but the best actors in the world will not be able to save this sinking ship of a script. Again did they not learn from the 1st "Street Fighter" film...? I guess not.

Besides an awful looking logo that is light years away from the original, what's the point in posting news about this movie? Again, it's the same director who made Doom. Says it all, doesn't it?

I want stretchy limbs god damn it.



There are so many problems with this film. Firstly, the guy from The Black Eyed Peas playing Vega. Isn't Vega supposed to be incredibly handsome, but his face gets scared? The guy from the Black Eyed Peas is as ugly as sin.



Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog. Nice to see him stretching his acting chops to play huge black guy who can kick ass....



Chris Klein playing Charlie...

Why did the scrap the Capcom-style logo at the top? That was the best thing about this movie!

It's gonna suck in a preety bad way.

I'll stick with the Van Damme version. At least they embraced the fact that their movie was cheese.

I've never been this fuckin' angry since The Beatles were no more. And I was born in the 80's. Thank you very much Holly-fuckin-Wood.



Seriously, the casting was the best thing I heard about this project. They all looked the part (in my head at least). I think we would all have a better chance at betting on Hannah Montana's movie being #1 than this piece of crap not actually sucking.
