The Final poster

May. 28, 2009by:

Last night I woke up in a cold sweat. It was a nightmare. I dreamt that the film industry was so short on ideas that it had to resort to a lacklustre horror franchise to suck some bucks from an audience not interested in being challenged anymore by movies. I dreamt that there was actually a fourth installment of the tepid FINAL DESTINATION franchise called THE FINAL DESTINATION. When I realized it was just a dream, I went to the kitchen to get a glass of lemonade infused with cilantro. Now check out this wicked poster below!

Extra Tidbit: At least the title implies that it will be the last one.

If it really is intended to be the last one, then I'll be willing to check out 2 and 3 finally.

I thought for a second this might be a movie/ripoff by The Asylum.

I could not care less about this one or the others but that poster is pretty slick.

Awesome poster, I liked the first and second movies. The third was okay. I'll Netflix this one.

One thing the franchise gave us was two films starring Ali Larter, and one with the amazing Mary Elizabeth Winstead. FTW

1st was the best
2nd had the best kills
3rd seemed like crap
im open to a fourth one. wish they did a different opening other than a nascar crash though, i dont see anything really topping the highway wreck from the 2nd one

NICE

yup, these movies are pretty bad...but they do entertain the hell out of me.
This poster is pretty awesome. Hopefully the movie itself will be the best in the series. Or better than the 3rd one at least

Cool

This poster is cool-as for the horror/suspense series- awesome(for the most part). My 7th most anticipated(as posted somewhere here?) for the year of '09.-Only wish it had a June or July release date!

I agree, they aren't the most terrifying movies, nor the best written but they are worth watching for sheer entertainment.

I did quite like the dvd of FD3 with the option to choose a different path, ok, it didn't have a huge effect on the film but it was at least a bit imaginative.

Speaking of fairly imaginative, I do quite like the route that they have taken with the title and the poster is pretty sweet too.

YES

these movies are great for all the wrong reasons. are they bad movies? yes. are they crappy horror flicks? yes. is the plot conjured up by r-tards? 100%. but are they entertaining with great kill scenes and dont take themselves too serious? yes.

fantastic example of an entire franchise that is one big guilty pleasure.

FD2 was the best, i think this has that same director. is this still in 3D?
