Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories

Earlier this month, we shared six teaser posters for the upcoming horror anthology VOLUMES OF BLOOD: HORROR STORIES, the second installment in the VOLUMES OF BLOOD series.

Consisting of seven segments from six directors, HORROR STORIES has the following synopsis:

A couple plans to purchase an old home, but would like one last tour before the closing. They’re guided around the estate by a creepy realtor that may have more in store than they bargained for. Searching floor by floor, they begin to discover the remnants of its sordid and terrifying past… A popular 80’s franchise gets a modern upgrade, but at what price? On Halloween night a teen left home alone meets a trick or treator that wants more than just candy. A door to door insurance salesman makes a Thanksgiving house call with monstrous consequences. Andrew and Sara are happily married and plan on spending some quality time together, but something sinister has other plans for their evening. Carol’s Christmas Eve turns into a fight for survival when a vengeful stranger isn’t feeling the holiday spirit. Lastly, a birthday party turns bloody when some unexpected guests drop by at the wrong time. Seven interwoven tales of terror, how many stories does your house have?

Each of those six teaser posters represented one of the segments in the film, with the teaser for the seventh segment being held back until a later date. That date has now arrived. Receiving its own solo release is the teaser poster for director Sean Blevins' segment Trick or Treat, which is set (as you might guess from the title) on Halloween.

Featured on the teaser is a serial killer known as The Harvester, sporting a very creepy look. With the setting and this guy stalking around, Trick or Treat looks to be a very promising part of the film.

In addition to Blevins' segment, the stories that make up VOLUMES OF BLOOD: HORROR STORIES are A Killer House, directed by James Treakle; Feeding Time, directed by John William Holt; Blood Bath, directed by Jon Maynard; The Deathday Party, directed by Justin Seaman; and two segments directed by Nathan Thomas Milliner – Murder Death Killer and Fear, For Sinners Here.
