Want a tease of the Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer? Here she is

Oct. 23, 2013by: Paul Shirey

What's that? You hate teasers for trailers? Yeah, me too, but I have to admit, in the case of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, they've got me by the balls. I'm beyond stoked to see the film and after all the beautiful awesome that was the trailer and clip shown at SDCC this year, I have absolutely ZERO doubt that this movie is going to create new forms of kicking ass. My bias is clear as a lifelong fan of the character, but I know Cap can be a tough sell for some. I get that. So, for now, here's a little appetizer for the coming awesome you'll witness tomorrow (and here's some stills from earlier this morning!).

Awwww, shiiiit:

I can't say for sure if they'll be showing the same trailer from SDCC, but if they do I know there will be a lot of happy folks. If it's something new then that is more than welcome as well for those of us who were spoiled rotten in Hall H earlier this summer. More than anything, I'm excited to hear the reaction from you guys when this drops. Sometimes you need to hear from the masses to see if you're love of the character is overshadowing your good judgment. I think they're both on the level, but you never know.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER hits theaters on April 4, 2014.

Tune in tomorrow for the full teaser trailer!

After the Man of Steel experience...I'm afraid to have high hopes for any movie...but darn it...this does look like it's going in the right direction.

A teaser of a teaser within a teaser teaser.

Can't wait till the day comes when people pay to go to the movies to see a full length feature teaser of a movie in the form of a movie. I hope no one from Hollywood just saw this idea and read, "money, money, money, and more filthy f*$king money.

Not watching because it will encourage studios to make more of these pointless teases. What happened to just trailers? Did attention spans die completely?

WWII suit?

I figured they'd want to keep it a secret that Cap would be going back to his WWII suit instead of showing it off in the teaser for the teaser. I actually loved that suit in the 1st movie. The Avengers one looked like a cheap Halloween costume, but I really dig the SHIELD spy suit that Cap will be wearing at least part of this movie. But yeah as others have said, this teaser of a teaser trend in Hollywood lately is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. But I have high hopes for the sequel. Can't

I hope the movies good, because I hate the Cap Costumes

The more I see of the costumes, the less I like it. So we get a black, brown & blue secret agent suit, and the baggy football uniform with the brown again. Whoever is green lighting these costumes must hate the color Red, or not have any design skills.

Looks great so far. Already missing Scarlett's "Avengers" haircut though.

Bad costumes

I think his suit from the first movie looks like he's wearing a biker helmet and baggy pillows strapped on his body with a bunch of belts. The Avengers was an improvement design wise, but the material/texture was weird/cheap. It seems like superhero costumes in movies are always trying to invent some new material (like "basketball" suit in TASM, and whatever the fuck from MoS), but when Cap has that unique "scale" armor from the comics, they don't bother to adapt it faithfully? I don't get it.
