It sounds as if Tom Holland isn't the only Marvel star with a big mouth. Recently while speaking with Collider about his new film HOTEL ARTEMIS, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY star Dave Bautista confirmed that Drax will be returning to the MCU for at least two more films. For those of you who've seen AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, you'll already know that Drax went *poof* at the close of the film. If you haven't seen the movie, Thanos eventually gathers all six Infinity Stones, and with a snap of his fingers, wipes out half the characters in the universe. Bautista's Drax the Destroyer was among the fallen, though according to the larger-than-life actor, Marvel fans won't have to shed tears over his pile of ashes for long.

During his talk with Tom Chapman of Collider, Bautista revealed that he'll be reprising his role as Drax for AVENGERS 4 and James Gunn's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3. While thinking back on his character's death, Bautista remarked, “I got a lot of texts saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re dead, your character is dead. They were really like heartbroken and I was like ‘I’m gonna be in [Avengers] 4. I’m gonna be in Guardians 3.'”

Now, while the BLADE RUNNER 2040 actor did confirm his return, he does admit that he has no idea as to how it will happen. “I don’t know how they’re bringing me back,” he confessed. “Yeah, but somehow I’m going to make it because, as far as I know, I am going to be in Guardians 3, so I have to be back.”

It's a given that many of Marvels characters will return for AVENGERS 4, especially when you consider that Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, Tom Holland's Spider-Man, and several of the Guardians each have movies locked and loaded as a part of the MCU's next phase. So sit tight, true believers, as we only have to wait until next year to discover their individual fates.

AVENGERS: INFNITY WAR stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The record breaking action blockbuster directed by Joe and Anthony Russo is in theaters now.
