Avengers: Infinity War vs Endgame: Face-Off

As Marvel’s Phase 4 finally gets underway, complete with television series like WandaVision and Loki that tie into the continuity of the films, we thought now would be a great time to revisit the two superhero crossover epics that closed out the Infinity SagaAVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and AVENGERS: ENDGAME. And no, we’re not considering Spider-Man: Far From Home as the official end of that storyline. No matter what Kevin Feige says. The Infinity Saga is an intricate tapestry comprised of 22 different films that started with 2008’s Iron Man and ultimately culminated in Endgame, which was easily the biggest movie event of the decade. During its initial theatrical run, Endgame actually unseated Avatar as the top-grossing movie of all time. That is, until Avatar had a re-release in China and quietly took back the crown… for now.

For the past decade or so, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the dominating force at the box office, with these final Infinity Saga installments being two of the highest-grossing films of all time. In fact, the MCU is officially ranked as the most lucrative movie franchise in history, with a total gross of over $25 BILLION dollars. That’s an amount that would make even Tony Stark blush. Both blockbusters are held in the highest of regard among MCU fans, but when the Infinity Gauntlets come off, which one reigns supreme? Only one way to find out… FACE OFF! This episode of Face Off is written by Matthew Hacunda, narrated by Dave Davis, and edited by Matthew Hacunda. Let us know in the comments which epic you prefer – Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame!
