Bryan Singer’s X2 and SUPERMAN RETURNS writing team of Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris are now off doing their own separate non-superhero things, such as the upcoming horror flick TRICK ‘r TREAT. Dougherty is graduating to feature directing with the movie, which collects X2 alumni Brian Cox and Anna Paquin for the Halloween chills.
The movie interweaves several terrifying subplots, including a serial-killing school principal, a gang of pranking teens, and a guy obsessed with Halloween. Dougherty recently revealed the appropriately atmospheric teaser poster you see below — it’s also nice to know the movie will be in theaters around the time of the actual holiday.
