Hugh Jackman begrudgingly calls Deadpool 2 a work of genius

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Has anyone else noticed that LOGAN actor Hugh Jackman has been seen spending quite a bit of time with Ryan Reynolds, during the lead-up to the release of DEADPOOL 2? Now, I don't know this for certain, but I'm wondering if Fox somehow managed to find a way of inserting Jackman's Wolverine into the Merc with a Mouth's newest film. I know that the Canadian, beer-swilling X-Men alum is dead and buried, though perhaps Wade has discovered a way to bring him back from the great beyond? Perhaps by using the power of song? Truly, I have no idea, but I think that would be hilarious.

Today, Hugh Jackman recorded a video (that he said he would delete) praising the quality of DEADPOOL 2. Through gritted teeth, the multi-talented actor of stage and screen called Reynold's latest outing in the red pajamas "a work of genius" as well as "epic." That's pretty high praise coming from someone that Deadpool's been chasing to be a part of his film for the past several years. Perhaps something is in the works after all? Either way, the video is worth a good chuckle, and should serve to get fans even more excited for the release of DEADPOOL 2, which is only one week away!

DEADPOOL 2 arrives in theaters on May 18th.
