Timothy Olyphant is negotiating for a role in Tarantino’s next feature

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Pieces are steadily falling into place for Quentin Tarantino‘s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, as Deadline has just announced that JUSTIFIED and SANTA CLARITA DIET star Timothy Olyphant is in negotiations to co-star in the upcoming film that takes place in LA during the summer of 1969, up to the moment where Charles Manson’s followers murdered Sharon Tate and others in a shocking night of savagery.

Should Olyphant sign on the dotted line, he’ll be joining an inspired cast comprised of several Hollywood elites, including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell and Michael Madsen. The ninth feature from the mad mind that brought us such classic as PULP FICTION, RESERVOIR DOGS, and the KILL BILL series will be directed and written by Tarantino for Sony Pictures.

Are you excited about ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD? Do you think the film will take any wild liberties with the grizzly source material upon which it is based? Who do you think would win in a fight between Charles Manson and Ed Gein? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is scheduled for an August 9, 2019 release.
