PROMETHEUS may not have lived up to everyone’s high hopes, but it doesn’t mean the events that transpired in it are for nothing. Among other things ALIEN: COVENANT will answer just what happened to Noomi Rapace’s Dr. Elizabeth Shaw. Is she dead? Did she discover something huge? Was she taken by mole people? All ads for the movie have avoided showing any glimpse of the character…until now!

What we see here is that the good doctor most likely left a message of sorts, perhaps warning future explorers about what happened and what she discovered. It’s just enough to give us a bigger idea of her role in all this while still leaving plenty open. I love a good mystery, especially when it’s loaded with alien tails turning humans in kebobs!
