Man, I can't wait for STAR TREK DISCOVERY! And "wait" is what it looks I'm going to be doing, as it doesn't seem like there is a set release date for the series yet (after some unfortunate setbacks, including former showrunner Bryan Fuller stepping down). There haven't even been any set pics or anything, save for some concept designs and some teaser footage of the ship.
But hope is not lost! There is a new promo sent out that shows production has indeed started on the new STAR TREK show! So, without further ado, here's the new "in production" featurette:
That was actually more than I was expecting. It showed off some uniforms, some alien costumes, some concept art, and even some shots of the still-in-construction bridge. Honestly, I liked everything I saw. Hopefully the show itself lives up to that promise of redefining STAR TREK.
