THE GOOD DINOSAUR follows an Apatosaurus named Arlo who makes an unlikely human friend on his journey back to his family. It looks like at some point, Arlo will run into a T-Rex voiced by Sam Elliot. As you'll see in the clip below, there's no one better suited to deliver a grim monologue in quite the same gravel-y manor than Sam Elliot!

Honestly, THE GOOD DINOSAUR doesn't strike me as one of Pixar's better efforts, but I suppose it'll be hard to compare with this year's INSIDE OUT, which most people loved. That aside, I imagine GOOD DINOSAUR will still be able to carve out some decent box-office bank before THE FORCE AWAKENS lands in theaters.
THE GOOD DINOSAUR will open in theaters on November 25, 2015.
