With all the hype over the studio presentations and focus on movies/TV it often gets lost that Comic Con is actually supposed to be about comics, namely the art and craft of them. However, roaming the convention floor you will find plenty of reminders that the art is still very much a part of the event, which everything from big names in Artist’s Alley to up-and-coming independent artists in the various aisles, their original art, prints, and more on display and ready for you to take home (if you’ve got the wall space, anyway). From all different mediums, styles, characters, genres, etc. there is art that will appeal to anyone and everyone at the con.
