COMMUNITY fans were relieved when the NBC sitcom was picked up for a sixth season by Yahoo. Despite losing cast-members Jonathan Banks, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Donald Glover, the sitcom is back for another round of bizarre comedy with new additions Paget Brewster and Keith David.
The first trailer for the web only season of COMMUNITY has been revealed and spoofs the same format as the AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON trailer. There does seem to be a bit of a shift in the production quality of the show as compared to the NBC seasons, but the cast looks as wacky as ever. Even Joe and Anthony Russo were onboard and directed the first episode of the season which will air on Yahoo Screen.
There are a lot of folks who haven’t been watching COMMUNITY so this is a prime opportunity to check out the series in all of it’s meta-glory. There are few sitcoms as brilliantly off the wall as this one and I hope this is a hit.
COMMUNITY will air new episodes every Tuesday beginning March 17th on Yahoo Screen.
