Tom Hiddleston seems like a really cool guy. He obviously is appreciating the fame that he has garnered playing Loki in THE AVENGERS and both THOR films. He even made appearances in character at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, just to rile up the crowd. He fully embraces the part and has become one of the highlights of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While Loki will likely be taking a break from the big screen as to not wear out his welcome after THOR: THE DARK WORLD, we can certainly enjoy Hiddleston promoting the film, especially if they all turn out as fun as his recent visit to Australia. Hiddleston was asked, seemingly out of the blue, what Owen Wilson would sound like if he were Loki. Hiddleston’s reaction makes it apparent that folks knew about this impression. Tom Hiddleston shared the screen with Wilson in Woody Allen‘s MIDNIGHT IN PARIS, so the two must have hit it off or Hiddleston just managed to pay attention to the actor’s mannerisms and acting style. I have watched this clip a couple of times and it is pretty damn funny, Tom may have a second career if this global comic book icon thing doesn’t work out.
