With the massive success of TED last year, we knew the sequel was coming, but now we know exactly when to expect TED 2. Universal will release the R-rated comedy right in the already jam-packed Summer 2015 season.

Seth McFarlane and Mark Wahlberg will reunite for the continued misadventures of a man and his talking stuffed bear with a potty mouth. No word on whether or not Mila Kunis will reprise her role as Wahlberg’s girlfriend/fiance, but I would assume that will be worked on between now and then. There is also no mention of what the plot will be about.

The first TED opened to over $50 million on it’s opening weekend and eventually $550 million worldwide. It boosted McFarlane’s cult status from shows such as FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD to new heights and even helped get him the hosting gig for last year’s Academy Awards. McFarlane is currently shooting A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST with Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman, and Neil Patrick Harris for a May 20, 2014 release.

TED 2 will hit theaters on June 26, 2015.
