INSIDIOUS freaked me out. I mean, I went into it expecting it to be another run of the mill garbage horror movie and was surprised to find a well made scary flick. As a horror snob, I did not want to admit the guy behind SAW could have turned in something actually worth watching. With the ending of the first movie perfectly standalone, I was a little sad to know the inevitable sequel was coming. But, when I saw the trailer for INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 I was intrigued to see if the movie would turn out to be as good as the first.

The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

Bringing back the entire primary cast including Rose Byrne, Patrick Wilson, and Barbara Hershey, INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 plans to tiptoe into your tulips and f*ck your nightmares. These two new featurettes explore the supernatural world created by James Wan. I dare you to sleep soundly tonight.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 starring Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, Ty Simpkins and Jocelin Donahue opens September 23, 2013.
