UPDATE: Trailer is back online! Take a look below!

Director James Wan is delivering a double dose of horror this year with the one-two punch of THE CONJURING and INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 and today we have a new trailer for the former. Starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as a pair of real-life paranormal investigators who find themselves confronting a powerful ghostly force at a farm house owned by The Warrens, played by Lili Taylor and Ron Livingston. The movie looks frightening as Hell as is, which is compounded in the trailer by the real-life people telling their stories over it. Great concept!

Take a look (if you dare!):

Here's the synopsis:

Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

Yeah, I'm gonna be honest here, I had straight heebie-jeebies going up and down my back watching this trailer. Anytime you throw "based on a true story" in there and then have the folks it actually happened to speak about it, then you can bet your ass my eyes will go a little wide with terror. So, yeah, definitely have to see this one. I'll wear a Depends, just in case.

THE CONJURING starts scaring the shit out of audiences on July 19, 2013.
