Cool Videos: Will Smith raps and dances with Alfonso Ribiero and DJ Jazzy Jeff on the Graham Norton Show

JoBloJoBlo

Do you remember back when Will Smith was a rapper and not a Hollywood superstar? I remember tuning to NBC for new episodes of THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR. Hell, I owned his first two albums with DJ Jazzy Jeff. Those were the days. Then, INDEPENDENCE DAY came around and the rest is history. I still long for the old days when Will Smith was cool and not someone whose movies I approached with apprehension. Probably not a good sign that he teamed up with M. Night Shyamalan, the other Hollywood bigwig who makes me apprehensive.

But, while out promoting AFTER EARTH with his son Jaden, Will visited The Graham Norton show to plug the movie and talk switched to whether father and son have recorded music together. After little goading, Will took the mic and beatboxed for his son. Now, much like his skills as an actor, Jaden is a pisspoor MC. But, that was when things got awesome.

Check out the video for the treat of the year: DJ Jazzy Jeff shows up for Will Smith to rap the classic Fresh Prince theme song and then comes Alfonso Ribiero, Carlton himself to dance! A glorious moment for us old folks!

Sure, it has nothing to do with AFTER EARTH, but that may be the best part. Watch this video and enjoy the throwback to the 1990s. And, if you still want to check it out, AFTER EARTH opens on May 31, 2013.
