A television spot for MAN OF STEEL has been released courtesy of Yahoo! Movies UK and even though it's only forty seconds long there is some new footage that is pretty damn spectacular. I'm sure you all want see Michael Shannon causing some awesome destruction with his heat vision, right? I thought so.
The heat vision for General Zod looks less contained and more destructive then what we're use to seeing in a Superman movie. It looks a little bit more like Cyclops' optic blast when he isn't wearing his Oakleys. And did no one tell that pilot that when it's Kryptonians vs. jets, Kryptonians win every time?
Expectations are sky high for MAN OF STEEL and DC and Zack Snyder have to be happy that anticipation is so high for their film. God help them though if they let us down.
Starring Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Antje Traue, MAN OF STEEL will be released in just a little over a month on June 14th, 2013. And I successfully made it through an entire article about MAN OF STEEL without using the word "epic." Ah shit.
