Hopefully you aren’t tired of all the hype surrounding IRON MAN 3, but as the beginning of Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it has a lot of place-setting to do. With that in mind, we need to reflect on the crazy five years since the original IRON MAN was released. Wow, we have gotten all of these movies in just five years? And we are complaining about getting a new STAR WARS movie every year? Jeesh.

But, what better way to look back at the three IRON MAN films than with a nice compilation trailer combining the journey Tony Stark has taken since he first donned the original Mark I armor. This video comes courtesy of the folks at MovieClipsTrailers who do a fine job of showing all of the drama, action, heart, and humor that has spanned Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as Iron Man. Enjoy.

And don’t forget to check out IRON MAN 3 on May 17, 2013.
