THE HANGOVER PART III is a sequel that we know a few small somethings about, while RED 2 is a sequel we actually barely know anything about.

The former, which treats the Wolf Pack to some south of the border insanity, promises to be a more intimate tale as it is (at least to begin with) the story of Zach Galifianakis‘ Alan.  The latter, a follow-up to the very successful comic adaptation RED, promises to… do something. The plot description is very vague.  Hopefully it will, at the very least, match the charm and fun-filled action of its predecessor.

THE HANGOVER PART III stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Sasha Barrese, Jamie Chung and John Goodman. “This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.”

RED 2 EW

RED 2 stars Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-Hun Lee, Karl Urban, Neal McDonough and David Thewlis. The sequel “brings back the team of retired CIA operatives as they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe.”
