After watching DAN IN REAL LIFE, I think it would be pretty easy to fall for Steve Carrell, and he doesn’t have to be the last man on Earth.

In the film, SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD, Carrell is searching for companionship and if possible, true love. But how can one even manage finding something like that if the world is days away from being an afterthought?

On the debut poster for the romcom, we find Carrell and Knightley standing with one another and what appears to be Baxter from ANCHORMAN. An asteroid may be hitting earth, but at least Knightley has her records.

Check out the poster below.

Synopsis: “Set in a too-near future, a man searches for a meaningful connection as humanity’s last days are at hand. Can he find his greatest love at the worst possible time? As the respective journeys of Dodge (Carrell) and Penny (Knightley) converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks – if not the world’s – brighten.”

The film is due out June 22nd and stars Carell, Knightley, Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Rob Corddry, Gillian Jacobs, Derek Luke, Melanie Lynskey, TJ Miller, Mark Moses, Patton Oswalt, and William Petersen.
