Calling all Amanda Seyfriend fans. Guess what she’s up to next? Oh, just playing Linda Lovelace.
The leggy, blonde goddess has signed on to play the porn legend for Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s LOVELACE. Currently, Peter Sarsgaard is in negotiations to play her husband Chuck Traynor, the pornographer who coaxed her into becoming an adult film actress. Wait, this means she’ll be nude, right? Artfully nude? It’s a win either way.
A few years after filming DEEP THROAT, Lovelace divorced Traynor saying that he forced her into the business. She went on to take part in anti-pornography activism. Sadly in 2002, Lovelace died due to severe injuries from a car accident.
Kate Hudson was up for the role until she got knocked up by the lead singer of Muse. You’d probably rather see some nudity from Seyfried anyway. With Hudson it’s a case of “been there, done that”.
Filming on the project begins in January.
