THE ROOMMATE is a very familiar tale.

Remember SINGLE WHITE FEMALE from 1992 with Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh? Yeah, this movie looks almost exactly like that except that it takes place in college. Let’s get this out of the way: “Her Mom goes to college”…yeah it’s funny, whatever. Anyway, Sara (Minka Kelly) goes to college and meets her crazy bitch roommate, Rebecca (Leighton Meester) who becomes completely obsessed with her. The rest is obvious.
