And before you even ask, of COURSE it’s a Nicholas Sparks novel, and the tagline, “What would you do with a letter that changes everything?” speaks to Sparks’ apparent love of the inconsistency of mail delivery. I understand it in THE NOTEBOOK, but Channing Tatum is wearing a hoodie here, it’s present, day, write a goddamn e-mail, it’ll get there.
