Spidey villain cast!

Well, sort of. Alan Cumming has been cast as Norman Osborn aka The Green Goblin in the upcoming Broadway Musical “Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark”, with Evan Rachel Wood set to play Mary Jane. There’s been much hype surrounding the musical, with the visionary Julie Taymor set to direct and U2’s Bono and The Edge writing the music. The project’s budget is reportedly $40 million and is being described as a large-scale “extravaganza” and a “circus rock-‘n-roll drama”, with Spider-man set to swing between skyscrapers on stage. Now with MJ and the goblin cast, focus will turn towards casting the role of Spider-man himself. With previews set for February 25th, 2010 in New York City, Taymor and Co. better cast someone and cast someone fast. I would suggest my one-eyed uncle Trevor but he can’t sing, so how about Adam Lambert instead?
