Taraji knows Karate

I caught the MTV Movie Awards (or as I like to call it, the day I stopped thinking Andy Samberg was funny) on re-runs late the other night. And I swear, the only thing that I came away with, apart from that those HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL kids actually think that MTV Movie Awards mean something, was that Tajari P. Henson is freaking cute. So I’m down with whatever this chick is doing now. Which happens to be playing Jaden Smith’s mom in the remake of THE KARATE KID. Jackie Chan, of course, is playing the Mr. Miyagi role, now renamed “Mr. Han”.

I’m usually all alone in my opinions so I’ll assume I’m the only one who thinks that this is gonna be a complete train-wreck, even with the usually very savvy Will Smith producing.
