Snipes is back!

JoBloJoBlo

I never really understood why Wesley Snipes’ career crumbled. He was totally badass in DEMOLITION MAN, RISING SUN, and PASSENGER 57, all classics that I hold close to my heart. With the Blade Trilogy, he proved he could headline a financially viable franchise. And Suddenly POOF! Snipes’ profile plummeted and he went from being a bankable action star to the tax-evading king of the straight-to-DVD.

Well folks, it appears as though Snipes’ much publicized legal troubles won’t deter him from making a big screen comeback. In director Antoine Fuqua’s (TRAINING DAY) latest entitled BROOKLYN’S FINEST, Snipes stars opposite Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, and Ethan Hawke (wow!). Snipes plays a drug dealer in the film, which looks at three unconnected Brooklyn cops who wind up at the same deadly location after enduring vastly different career paths. If Snipes is serious about reinvigorating his career, this is definitely a solid start. Check out the first look at Snipes and Cheadle all decked out for the period crime saga BELOW.
