The folks at “Row Three” have nabbed themselves a first look at Viggo Mortensen in director John Hillcoat’s upcoming THE ROAD, an adaptation of the bestselling Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name. In it, Mortensen and his son make their way through a post-apocalyptic USA while trying to avoid cannibals and survive the bitter cold wasteland. Not the most complex plot but the novel packs a considerable dramatic punch. Plus, that is one mighty fine beard. Guy Pearce and Charlize Theron co-star. Click HERE or on Mortensen’s rockin’ beard to see it all large and stuff. The film’s scheduled for release November 26th.
