INT: Ben Kingsley

JoBloJoBlo

Critically acclaimed and theatrically trained British actor
Sir Ben Kingsley has most recently dazzled audiences with his
performances in HBO’s film MRS. HARRIS, LUCKY NUMBER SLEVEN and
HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG. His most memorable role however, is his
incredible embodiment as GANDHI for which he won an Academy Award as
best actor in 1982. The versatile and intuitive actor takes on a
different kind of challenge in his upcoming film YOU
KILL ME
as a humorous Polish, alcoholic hit-man who
demonstrates that everyone deserves a second chance in life. I
recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Mr. Kingsley to talk
about his transformation into a Polish mobster, his desire to work
with Tea Leoni and John Dahl, and conquering his fear of alcoholics
in his latest romantic comedy. See what Kingsley had to say when he
sat down for an exclusive one on one with JoBlo.com.
