I hope Jacob Tremblay is doing okay. The kid is swiftly emerging as one of the best young actors in the movies, but a triple threat of ROOM, BEFORE I WAKE and now SHUT IN might just traumatize the poor youngster. I know it's all make-believe, but how much terror can one lad take?! (Plus, he was in THE SMURFS 2!!!)

I'm sure he's doing fine; I wish I had his problems, actually. In any event, young Tremblay is featured alongside Naomi Watts in the first images from SHUT IN, which you can see below. In the film, Watts stars as…

a widowed child psychologist who lives an isolated existence in rural New England. Caught in a deadly winter storm, she must find a way to rescue a young boy before he disappears forever.

Also starring Oliver Platt and David Cubitt, SHUT IN was directed by Farren Blackburn (Luther, Doctor Who) and opens November 11th.
