Greg McLean’s The Darkness, starring Kevin Bacon, gets a second trailer

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

It's only been a month since the first trailer debuted for THE DARKNESS, a new horror film from WOLF CREEK creator Greg McLean, but the marketing department has already put out a second trailer, which can be viewed below. This new trailer is quite similar to the first, but happens to be a minute shorter.

Written by McLean, Shayne Armstrong, and S.P. Krause, THE DARKNESS (formerly known as 6 MIRANDA DRIVE) adds another supernatural tale to the filmography of producer Jason Blum – who had a hand in such films as PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, INSIDIOUS, and SINISTER – while telling the following story:

As a family returns home from vacation at the Grand Canyon, they innocently bring home a supernatural force that preys off their own fears and vulnerabilities, threatening to destroy them from within, while consuming their lives with terrifying consequences.

Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, David Mazouz, Lucy Fry, Matt Walsh, and Jennifer Morrison star.

THE DARKNESS will be released in theatres on Friday, May 13th.
