Just because it’s a very slow news day and Christmas is almost here, I thought I’d put this in your stocking. It’s the original trailer for SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT; the one that started a flurry of controversy when it was aired because parents thought the image of an axe-carrying Santa was bad for children. I can sorta see their point, but I’m also going to guess, all these years later, the kids who saw this trailer turned out just fine.

Except me. It disturbed me forever and now I’m a wreckage of a man… Merry Christmas!
