Lots of San Diego Comic-Con news popping off right now, kids, so bear with us while we sort through it all. The studios are alerting the press to their various panels and it’s going to dominate the news cycle for a little bit. But this is worth pointing a spotlight at:

MAD MAX IS COMING TO COMIC-CON!

Yes, Warner Bros. has officially announced George Miller will be presenting footage and/or a trailer from MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. No details beyond that; it’s unsure whether or not Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron will be in attendance, but one would imagine they’d have to be.

I’m more excited to see footage from the new MAD MAX film than anything else, to be perfectly honest, so this is thrilling news. We’ve been waiting a long time for this bad boy to pull in. Looks like time is almost here. (Of course, we still have to wait until May 15, 2015 to see the movie itself. Sigh.)

As per usual, JoBlo.com and Arrow in the Head will be all over SDCC, so tune in for the best coverage on the net!
