Mortal Instruments: City of Bones international trailer arrives

A new international trailer for MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES has flown in from the U.K. This movie continues to look promising; I'm not expecting any hardcore horror or anything along those lines, but at least we've got an ample helping of monsters and action.

Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray, discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother, Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.

Directed by Harold Zwart and starring Lily Collins, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jemima West, Jamie Campbell Bower, Lena Headey, Jared Harris and Kevin Durand, MORTAL INSTRUMENTS comes out on August 21st.
