Joseph Fiennes and Morena Baccarin have been chosen to star in Ross Katz’s THE UNHOLY. Katz will direct from a script written by E.L. Katz, based on an original idea by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza (REC).
THE UNHOLY is inspired by actual scientific research (which makes the whole thing scarier) that suggests that the human race might have evil in its genetic code, making some humans preordained for immorality.
THE UNHOLY is about the scientists going after this theory when they’re hired by the Vatican to study candidates for exorcisms. This is a very good example of a movie that portrays the battle of Good vs Evil.
Joseph Fiennes just wrapped the second season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, where he played Monsignor Timothy Howard, I don’t know what you think, but he should stay in the horror genre, he was awesome in AHS.
Fiennes is back on the big screen and with a horror film. Cheers!
